Structure
The PhD follows CenTox postgraduate research framework: initial research training, annual progress review, thesis preparation, and oral examination. Supervision is drawn from CenTox policy research clusters and, where appropriate, cognate interdisciplinary themes. Detailed regulations appear in the doctoral research handbook.
Entry requirements
Applicants normally hold a master’s degree with a substantial research component or equivalent research experience. A clear proposal, strong references, and interview form part of selection. International candidates must meet English language thresholds for research degrees.
